This is not a cure but could help a lot of people out. I have been dealing with acne since I was in the 6th grade. It started out small breakouts but soon grew to a large problem. While it wasnt the end of the world it sure seemed like it.

By time I was 16 it covered my cheeks, chin and forhead. I tried everything from home remedies, store bought soaps and prescribed medications. The prescriptions worked a little better than store bought but wasnt enough. They often irritated my skin and made it red. Also if my prescription ran out I would break out in a few days. It got expensive for prescriptions and doctor visits.

I recently tried a combination of three products that work and clear up my skin within a few days. Even if I run out for up to a week my skin seems to breakout less often. The products last a lot longer than prescriptions as well. The cost is less too.

The three products are-1)St Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish & Blackhead Control 2)Acne Free Severe oil free 24/7 Severe Acne Wash foaming cream 3)Acne Free Severe Acne Control Kit(comes with 4 items).

Here is how I use them (once at night and once in the morning).
1) Wash face with the Apricot Scrub. Dont rub it too hard. The scrub does the work for you but do rub in a circle motion with a little pressure. Rinse
2) Wash face with foaming cream ,wash same way as above and rinse
3)Wash face with Step 1 of the Acne Free Kit (Antibacterial Cleansing Wash) wash same as above and rinse
4)After washing face with all three products be sure to dab dry your face with a clean cloth
5) Using a cotton ball apply Step 2 of the Acne Free Kit(corrective Toner). Apply all over face and let dry for at least 5mins
6)Once face is dry use a clean cotton ball and apply Step 3 of the Acne Free Kit(Repair Lotion)
7) Last apply Step 4 of the Acne Free Kit (Retinol Renewal Complex) Only use this step at night

Again this is from my trial and error. Always try to apply products with a cotton ball or clean cloth. Also avoid touching your face during the day. Acne Free Kit may be substituted with Proactive but I find Acne Free to work better, cheaper and you can find it at most Wal-Marts.
