See the post on medscape regarding linoleic acid. They have proved that people with cystic acne have low levels or no levels of this acid in thier sebum. however those with clear healthy skin had an abundance. Borage oil is one of the richest forms of linoleic acid. Google this fatty acid and you will see research done by The University of Alabama updated June 2008 by Julie Harper md and James fulton md of the fulton skin institute. I will be contacting both individuals and I anm attending the dermatological convention in San francisco next week and will be bringing my reasearch along. It took me two weeks at 3 soft gels a day at 3000mg I started with 5, till my skin cleared and stay with the 3 a day. My skin claered totally after 1 week

Borage on linoleic acid....see my bio take 5 a day to start and 3 to maintain... After suffering from what looked like precancerous lesions that would not heal with anything and cystic acne...within two weeks I am now clear completely. Google linoleic acid last updated in medscape 6/2008
