Accutane has worked wonders for me! My skin broke out horribly laast year so I finally decided to go on accutane. I started off with a lower dose and worked my way up. Get some good. Moisterizer and lip balm, I like Weleda Calendula Baby Cream! Good luck and feel free to message me with any questions!

hey Holly, yeah Ive been on it a month next week!!!
Mine went abit worse at first.. like all little ones which other people couldnt really see but i knew were under my skin came out. It was horible =[ but now theyre all clearing and the overall condition is strating to look better! Im glad things are going ok for you too. Ive only had dry lips. My skin isnt that dry and my hairs fine. I recommed 'Carmex' lip balm - the one in the pot though. apparently its the best one for what accutane does for you. That might help you cause mine arent bad at all just a tiny bit if i havnt got any balm on. Im excited for the results though and i bet you are too!! Just think we will look even better by Christmas =] Im drinking looooaddddssss of water too cause im always thirsty but i suppose thats good. Ive got my bloods next thursday =[ i hate having them done. hope your'e ok =] x

I was happy overall with my results of accutane but there are several things i need to mention, in case you are not aware of it:
1) First and foremost: i don't know what birth control method you chose, but a serious side effect of hormonal birth control is hair loss. After i got off the birth control, my hair started falling out in clumps--that was more than three months ago. None of my clinicians or GYNs told me this, only my derm seemed to know that this would happy and was not shocked to hear about it. Apparently this is a common side effect. 2) The process of accuntane is grueling. The insurance companies and govt are jerks, basically. That is a small deterrant, the online check-in, the synchronising with the doc, etc. 3) This is a heavy duty drug that wrecks some heavy duty stuff on your body. This was my second time on accutane. I am praying I don't have to go back on this again. 4) in relation to #3, be aware that your acne may not go away forever. My doctor told me he has patients who have had to take this three or four times. Again, i pray i don't have to be one of those people. But having said all that, this is the only thing that has really worked for me. I think Obagi is good too; it is a daily regimen and is physician-strength that you have to get from a doctor. I am considering getting back on it, as it is something that has worked for me as well.

thanks for your concern. Ive been on birth control .... e.g. dianette which is good for skin aswel and changed my pill type every few months as youre nto supposed to be on sertain ones for longer than a certain amount of time. A couple of them really helped and couple of them did nothing.
My derm said that looking at how my acne isnt a really severed case and lookin at the type of spots, she thinks they will never come back. My skin is starting to show big improvement now aswel!! Also im from England and so i get it on the NHS, i also get laser treatment for any scars once I have finnished on the NHS too. I have had an indepth consultation about all the side effects etc and i get check up every month for my blood liver and pregnancy tests. If there are any signs of side effects other than dryness the dosage is altered so im sure I'll be fine. Thanks again!! =] x
