Hang in there Ana! I take yaz birth control that is said to help with mild acne. Also, this sounds strange but I got some emu oil at the farmers' market. It's believed to have a healing effect on skin. I put a small amount on a blemish before bed and I think it really helps. It apparently does not clog pores. Hope this helps!

I am feeling the same way. I kind of want to stay inside and not see anyone. I have tried lots of things and write now I am on the pill Yasmin and benzyl peroxide wash. There are so many things that people say will work...and its hard because we think that it will work but when it doesn't work its devastating. I think one of the major things about our skin is how possible our diets may play a huge role. You may want to sheck your makeup too....is it possible that the fondation is aggravating your skin?

I've gone on a birth control for its actual use, and I think I have seen some improvement, except for the fact that I break out especially the week before my period. I know stress has a lot to do with it as do hormones, which in women is a notable factor in acne. Birth control is not my cure all, but I defiantly think avoiding to over wash your skin or excessively touch your face is 2 good tips. Your hands touch EVERYTHING and every time you make contact with your face, you can spread it, but over washing and being over abrasive can be damaging too.
Keep trying!

you following options. rule out no.1 and then proceed:
1.antibiotics (first choice) 2. retino-a 3. birthcontrol, or hormones & one which nobody knows usually: avoid harsh products. sometimes skin can break out because it's sensitive, not because it's dirty or oily. 4. switch to products for sensitive skin (nothing overdrying, no perfumed products etc.) and important point: 5. eat fruits & veg, drink adequate water & get some exercise! it's as important as anything else. pick ur choice from 1st three, but dont ignore the last two. good luck! p.s. my new dermat told me to use tea tree & lavender oil cleanser. it's gentle and antiseptic. try it... keeping fingers crossed for ur skin & mine :)
