Doses anyone know of any good liquid foundation for acne prone skin? Is it worth it to buy more expensive makeup? I want my skin to look flawless.

yes i would spend more on a foundation so it doesnt irritate your skin.
Ive tried alot and i find rimmels ones didnt bother my skin. Look out for oil-free foundations. Get ones in a tube not a tub or pot as when you put your fingers in the pot then on your face and back in the pot you are just making a breeding ground for bacteria. When using brushes, sponges etc wash them regularly in some baby shampoo to clean them of bacteria. try to use disposable products whereever possible. if your foundation is in a pot take it out with a wooden spatula that you can then just throw away. Always wash your fingers before and after application. Mineral powders are good, they are oil free, let your skin breath and have the coverage of a liquid foundation. Go into debenhams or any other shops that do makeup lessons and see if they can advise you on the best product to use on your skin.

Mary Kay- Medium coverage foundation. It's awesome. No breakouts from it, actually covers my acne, and doesn't feel like cake on my face :P

I use Covergirl True Blend. It's really thin, but covers up really well. And its really easy to find a color that matches so you dont get make up lines or look like you put too much on. I do have to use concealer still on the "big red zits" though.

Also, if you have sensitive skin and want something that will help out with acne....try the Clinque counter at your local mall. They have make up that won't make you break out, but will actually help prevent breakouts. Good luck w/ your search.

Whenever I use liquid foundation, I seem to break out much more frequently, even if the formula claims to be 'oil-free' or 'non-comedogenic.' I've found that mineral foundations work miracles on my skin - they make the surface smoother and I can go months at a time without a single zit. Seriously, they make me look like one of those incredibly lucky girls with naturally perfect skin.
I used to use the L'Oreal Bare naturale and while this did prevent breakouts, I found it to be a bit caky looking. I'm now using the Sephora brand mineral makeup compact - you can find it at any Sephora or off of their website - and this stuff is GENIUS! It's never cakey, it's absolutely natural looking, the ingredients soothe the skin, it allows your skin to breathe, and it prevents breakouts while making you look fantastic! I believe it retails for about $22, and I think it's a pretty reasonable price, considering that when using it you don't really need a finishing powder in addition to foundation. I sound like I'm advertising the stuff. Maybe I should, if it's in high-enough demand they probably won't discontinue it.

I use Neutrogena SkinClearing oil-free makeup. It covers acne well, and it also contains salcylic acid to help clear your skin. It also controls the shiny areas on your face. It works wonders for me. Whatever you decide, though, make sure you use an OIL-FREE makeup, because any other kind will clog your pores and worsen your acne! If your skin is sensitive, a hypoallergenic product will work best for you.
Good luck!
