Doses anyone know of any good liquid foundation for acne prone skin? Is it worth it to buy more expensive makeup? I want my skin to look flawless.

Thanks

" You might want to try mineral makeup. I know some people, and I actually want to try it myself, use shear cover..the mineral makeup they sell on tv. You can probably do a google search on it and I know some sell it on ebay. Good luck! "

" whatever you decide, make sure you either use disposable makeup sponges for liquid foundation instead of your fingers, or wash your foundation brush frequently. So gross, but your fingers transport bacteria back into the foundation bottle and the same with brushes. And that can cause blemishes. "

" i use mineral makeup, specifically bareminerals. it works great & covers up a lot. i think it's worth the money. i hate the way liquid foundation makes my skin feel & look. bareminerals is pretty expensive, i guess, but there are other brands that are less expensive but completely natural like physicians formula (i think that's what it's called). " I've heard (and my Dermatologists suggest this as well). It's the Bare Essential make-up line. I've actually tried it and like it. It gives good coverage and feels light on your face. "

" A friend of mine also suffers from acne. She used a lot of different makeup products but nothing really had the desired effect. Finally she decided to try the mineral makeup from sheer cover and it had the long desired effect. Her skin looks flawless and her dermatologist said that she can use it unhesitatingly. I must say that I am also totally convinced. I use the makeup even for myself. "

" Vichy makes a foundation called dermablend with a higher pigmentation then regular drug store brands,it is about $30 and works really well at covering flaws, the only thing about it is it doesn't come in very light shades(if you have fair skin)but you can dilute the color with a bit of moisturizer.there is also a powder that goes with it(also about $30)that is supposed to be waterproof. " I use everyday minerals, they let you get sample kits for free (plus shipping) to make sure you have the right skin shade in your foundation
they are made out of the same stuff bare minerals is except for one ingredient (I forget what it is) that tended to break some people out while using bare minerals
they're really good ...google them
they're cheaper (I think) than bare minerals, and their brushes are good for the environment, and good for your face too!! "
