So I have pretty bad scarring on my cheeks from acne. My mom says its from popping zits. I don't think so. How do you guys and girls deal with scarring? Does it go away a little? My scarring kinda has a darker tint to it. Does that go away? I know scars don't fully disappear but If it does a little that would be sweet. If not oh well I guess... Thanks everybody.

" Your mom could be right! Popping zits in some people can create scarring, other people just get scars whether they are popped or not. Depending on the scarring, it can lessen over time, or may not. I'm going to suggest you check out acne.org, and check out the scar catergory there. Lots and lots of help of options, and things that you can do to help with it. You want to try to deal with it as soon as you can. "

" The best thing I have seen for scarring is vitamin E oil. Dab some on and if it does not break you out, then slather it on. If you put lots on regularly, it can really diminish scarring.

The other thing I have seen that works is mud. I know it sounds weird, but if you are willing to put mud on it, the results I have seen are miraculous. There are muds especially make for skin that you can buy, so you could also check that out.

I have also heard good things about Maderma. "

" I've heard of this product called Mederma. You can buy it in a drug store. I can lighten scars and help them fade away a bit. "

" I have heard about a laser that works great on scarring..They brought it to Romania, so i am pretty sure that it exists in the States already. I saw it on tv and it did wonders on scars..Maybe you should ask for a dermatologist's advice, as he will be the only one that should perform this on patients
In my country a complete treatment of 6-7 sessions costs about 3000 euros which is huge for us.. "
