Dry sking/Acne

Ok, so.. usually my skin is decent.. But latley whatever I use just makes it reallyy dry (ex. Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, Olay etc.) What I find with using these products is that, they work for a while and then my skin just gets dry and breaks out..
What I was wondering is, if anyone can suggest something that they've used before or are using now that can help with my skin problem.
Thankss!! :)

" I find that all cleansers I try dry out my skin, even if I use moisturisers or not. The skin around my spots dries out completely then peels, not a good look!

The last few days I have been using aromatherapy oils in a base oil as a cleanser.... watch this space! "

" Sicilic acid however you spell it is what makes my skin so dry it peels, even with moisturizer, Look at the ingredients of all these things maybe they have something in common. Or is you were using a matching face wash wit the same ingredient it could be too much of one thing. They do make moisturizer that helps acne but if your skin is really dry try avenue cooling relief for dry skin. With in one use my skin was better and in two it was not dry, but i still has acne. "

" I use nutrogena spot stress control foaming face wash. I dont use a toner though theyre a waste of money and dry my skin instead i splash my face a couple of times after washing with cold water. Use a moisturizer, the one i use is by simple, which is made for senstive skins but moisturizes mine well and doesnt leave a greasy look to my skin. Its under a fiver too! Drink alot of water hydrate your skin from the inside out. "

" I use to have a problem like that. I would use something to get rid of the pimples and it did that but made my skin dry. What I use now is like a soap free/fragrance free facial cleanser. I was told that anything with fragrance is really bad for the face. I also use a cream specially made to moisturize dry skin. "

" Defintely try a gentler cleanser. I use Cetaphil which is water-based and recommended to me by two different Dermos. Harsher cleansers will leave your skin dry/tight once you've washed. Salycilic acid actually cleanses by taking a layer of skin OFF your face - i tried it as a treatment for my skin and it was way too harsh for me. "
