" lots of people use the pill for acne. I don't think it could make your skin worse. I would be more worried with the retin a. But it sounds like its working for you. "

" hi, im a doc so trust me, there's no need to worry from birth control. in some cases it's the imbalance of hormones which causes acne. so taking female hormones is the quickest way to amazing glowing skin. it's totally normal.

as for retin-a, u shud be aware that u r not supposed to get pregnant for 2-3 yrs if u are taking this. because there are chances of defect in baby while growing inside u.

be happy!! dont worry!! "

" peace588 I didn't know you're not supposed to get pregnant two years after using retin a. Are you sure about this? I knew there were two years for accutane and that was systemic treatment, not topical.. "

" Yes! I used birth control for my acne, ithought it was weird at first but it worked for me really well i noticed my breakouts were less severe and now my skin is fine. I did use other stuff, but at times when i just used birth control it kept my skin under control. "
