well hmmmm i really dont have any suggetionz=(zorry lol im usin n not using proactiv what i mean bout dat is dat i get real frustrated dat i dont see reultsXD n yea proactiv also gets ur face very dry n flaky...how about tryin accutane or the pills 4 acne treatment, well i would love to try dat treatment but the problem is idk how to swalow pillz=(lmao prety funny but true=(n dat zucks lol.....hope u d best though=)

Proactiv does work. I had very oily skin, but since I've been using Proactiv, and keeping stress to a minimum, I've seen awesome results. I buy from eBay. Also, I use (when I run out of the toner) Biore toner. Works just like the Proactiv toner except it tingles and cools at the same time.

I've been using Clearasil, and it works, but it dries out my skin really badly. So after I was my face, I apply Cetaphil like lotion. That seems to help, but my skin isn't completely under control. I'm still looking for something better.

I avoid anything with perfumes in it like the plague, so that means I have to avoid most over the counter stuff. I do use Pan-Oxyl bar though. My doctor went to a conference on acne and said that in clinical trials, they found it to be the least effected by bacterial resistance. I've had better luck with this soap than any other. I also use Prascion AV, which is a prescription sulfur wash. I'm not crazy about it, but it does seem to help some.

I'm using proactiv but it doesn't work as well as it used to. It takes a few days to get rid of existing acne but by that time more have popped up. They are not as big or nearly as many as there used to be before using it but it hasn't helped as much as i've liked

Well, in response to the Proactive replies, it did not work for me at all. I have extra sensitive skin though. Have you tried Murad? It works like a charm!! Also, if your looking for something a bit cheaper, try Monoxyle facial soap bars(i believe thats how its spelled).

I used black soap. See what you need to do is wet the towel and rub the soap on the towel and then scrub the towel on ur face. Thats what I do and it helps me alot.

a cosmetologist suggested to me use dove white bar soap and i find it to be the best i've used because its not overdrying and its gentle on my skin
