Throughout the day im finding i have to blot my skin to remove the shine, its highly annoying and i was wondering if anyone has found anything, ie moisturizer, masks, washes, products of any sort that has helped to reduce this??

" If it's just on your t-zone it's normal. I purchased the Aztec Cleansing Cleaning Clay that helps control oil. (I have only used it once because I am on other medications that helps with oil control, so I don't want too much oil-controling products because I think it would be bad for my skin). I heard like through people, that the Aztec Cleansing cleaning clay really helps them. And don't forget to moisturize!

What cured my oily skin was only temporary, but still really helped. However, I was prescribed this because I had severe acne. So, that's why I am not recommending it.

Good Luck. "

" Good question. Microscopic polymer sponges and a good cleanser is a great place to start. Check these recommendations by Dr. Audrey Kunin, here on Sharecare.com's Health Reference QA site:

Here's another one where she she disposes some myths about caring for oily skin?

I also found this video from Dr. Amy Wexler on RealAge.com. She talks about what happens when you over dry your skin cleaning it, and a bunch of great treatment options to follow:

Hope these help! With the right treatment plan, I think you'll have no problem getting this under control :-) "
