I found a Low Vision Center online that states that they have equipment, such as red center contacts and bioptics, to help people with achromatopsia. This center in located in Indiania. What I need to know is how do I find out if the center is reputable.

You did not include the name of the Center but it is probably the same one we went to. My daughter has red centered contact lenses from a Low Vision Center in Indiana (can't remember the name) she got them about 5 years ago. She wears them occasionally, and they are very effective for filtering flourescent light, however, she still needs sunglasses for sunlight. This is consistent with what they told us when we got them. I plan to return to the center when she is 16 because they also give driving lessons to people with Achromatopsia.
