Hi all,
I would like some encouragement in staying celibate and pure. It is my goal but it seems that all the people I meet just think having sex is the answer to everything. I am a male virgin and plan to stay this way till I marry. I have noticed that keeping away from masturbation also helps in the goal of keeping pure and your thoughts pure as well. Awesome! I've been pondering that idea lately too--purity in all things. I don't want to remain pure for someone who has squandered their body and mind. So, I try to do the same--keep the body _and_ mind pure. Not easy, especially in our sexually driven culture. She's out there and she will appreciate your celibacy and pursuit of purity!

That is true for sure. To save yourself to make that someone special your worth feel special, and the relationship yall have something more. I think its great, and i know i would be honored if someone waited for me.

Didn't you have a previous discussion, if you are having so many issues with this then you need to speak to a counselor in person, minister, parent or someone who can help you and you may need to change the people you associate with. Everything we do is based on choices.

Well probably the easiest and best way to not masturbate and to stay celibate is to stay ridiculously busy all the time and be so exhausted that you have no energy to expend and can only crash asleep each night. The downside is that you'd be burning the candle of your life at both ends and create more problems for yourself that have nothing to do with sexual urges. Good luck with whatever you decide is best and most true to yourself.
