So I made a promise to myself today that I won't look at porn for 2 weeks, which is a major challenge! I must look at it at least once a day and I think it has been having an effect on my relationships and college work. I really want to do this but I don't know how people do it? Any tips would be really helpfull.

Turn your filters on your computer...Also, if its internet porn (which mostly it is now days) but a picture of your family or something that you hold scared on your background...gives you the guilty conscience...that sometimes helps. If you have a major addiction to it , yes it will be hard. To stop "cold turkey" would be what I would chose to do, but most can't and it is hard..so take baby steps and praise yourself for everyday that you do good.

Thanks, I think thats working as my keyboard is broken on my computer just now and have had to use my mum's. She has a picutre of my sis in the background and I think it has been helping a lot.
I have also been reading up on how the brain works and if can stick at it for 2 weeks then thats as hard as its going to get. Will look into the internet filtering. Thanks for your support.
