" The first time I was on Wellbutrin - for about 6 months - after the first month I could go to school, get my work done, file my paperwork and keep my room clean. It was amazing. For 6 months I was on top of things. Then I lost my healthcare and stopped taking it. Downhill from there.... "

" Yup i hear that anabetta. I was the same with other meds. Thankfully i dont think ill be loosing my ins. anytime soon :) I am taking a number of medications. Just found out a month ago i am not bipolar with depression. I am ADHD and depression. Kind of an interesting turn around for me but the 400 mg of welbutrin is helping along with a few others "

" I have depression and ADD. I took wellbutrin for 2 months, and it helped me with both. Unfortunately, it began to make me nervous and I had to be taken off of it. However, if you have no anxiety issues, I would highly reccomend giving it a try. It really helped me focus, and I was only taking 150mg SR once in the morning, which is a low dose. I was able to feel it in a day or two, but the full results took about a month or so to level out for me. "

" There's a Dr. in California, Dr. Amen, who says there are 6 types of ADD, and not all of them respond to stimulants. His website is very informative. google "amenclinics". I had no idea there was more than 1 type. He gives info. on how to keep your brain healthy. I am on prozac, ritalin and lamictal. prozac for depression, ritalin for ADD, and lamictal for an impulse disorder my doctor said I have after doing a brain spect scan. I am curious for what "Greg1973" is taking lamictal. I am curious if wellbutrin could take the place of ritalin and prozac. I live in Singapore and medicine is very expensive, so I'd like to take 1 pill instead of 2 if possible. --Question for the people who take it for ADD-- Does it help, and how does it help? What symptoms does it control? I personally have trouble getting motivated to start stuff, and I get distracted when I'm anxious, and I daydream. Thanks for any input. "
