"Free trade" rather than "Fair Trade" has been putting us in the hole for years...Obama campaigned on "Fair Trade", but alas, another bullshitter.

sad thing is, my grandkids are already in debt beyond belief and they have not earned a penny yet, bullshit sums it up pretty good bite. and a lot of it.

This is true, but it is also false. After W.W. II, the US, which had financed the war through debt (war bonds), nevertheless went into additional debt to finance the re-building of Europe and Japan. As a fraction of GDP, that debt was huge; however, as big as it was, it did not prevent the 1950s from witnessing the strongest economic growth of the last century. The conservative insistence on fiscal restraint misses the mark by a wide margin. Conservatives do not know history, and, as the crashes of 1929 and 2008 show, they do not know economics either.

When America was attacked on 911 way back in 2001 it was already reeling under the slowdown and recession pressures. Then 911 happened. Over 5500 WHITE COLLAR innocent people (the cream of USA) got killed and had to be paid huge compensations. Then the war against terror came with its bag full of woes. All this was American Taxpayers Money.

Would anyone believe me, if I say that the World has to pay back to America all what it has spent this far on the war against terror.

the US has been foolish to spend so much money on its War On Terror and the Iraq War. While we blew so much money on those things, China and the rest of the world have been spending their money on infrastructure, educating their populations, and creating jobs for their people.

now, we are blowing money on the Clunkers program and bailout programs. what an insane government we have had under the Bush and Obama administrations.
