" He is a scare mongering alarmist.
Where the heck was his yelling when Bush sent us on this path?
Bush gutted our nation so badly, there has to be spending to get the country moving.
Balance it out with some Keith Olberman, on MSNBC. "

" Olberman yells just as much. I don't see alot of difference between the two. They are paid to be commentators, have opinions, get people riled up. Thet both do this fairly well in their own styles and ways. Depending upon your position, you like one and not the other. I watch both. That doens't mean I don't have a position. It just means that I think you shoulod know what everyone is saying. It is no different that posting links to one site or another, what they each say may have been a fact, but I'm not sure once they rearrange it to suit their purpose. It sort of boils down to if you are in the mood to hear something that you believe, hear something that pisses you off, or just feel like being entertained. "

" Hey Mikey, he was yelling over on CNN about Bush.

I do like to watch Glenn Beck...I like to "listen" to him more than "watch" him...but either way, I believe that he does speak his truth and deals in facts...IMO, he is sincere and raises excellent points re: Alinsky, Acorn....if you look at NCLR, they def use the Alinsky playbook...re: distraction, bate and switch, ends justifies the means....that's my 2 cents. "

" Well, mostly it wasn't considered worth anything when I posted this before, and probably won't be now, but the definiton of radical as it applies to this is:

3 a: marked by a considerable departure from the usual or traditional : extreme b: tending or disposed to make extreme changes in existing views, habits, conditions, or institutions c: of, relating to, or constituting a political group associated with views, practices, and policies of extreme change d: advocating extreme measures to retain or restore a political state of affairs
This is from the Merrian-Webster dictionary, not some lefty site.

The Alinsky Rules for Radicals which I also posted do not specify what radicals they should be used by.
I also posted an article discussing the use of these tactics by Palin and McCain during the campaign, and also discussing the use by Carl Rove.
So I am unsure why they are soley associated with Democrats. It seems that these rules, in one way or another, are used by many people. Distract, personal attack, divert, divide, etc.
Acorn is an agency that receives government funding and therefore should open all their books or receive no more money.
Both are pretty clear cut.
JMO. "

" Oh, and before everyone starts ripping my head off, I am simply suggesting that they all talk about issues, and they also all make issues out of things that might not be. "

" I agree play...def not just by Democrats...but don't you think Obama's election and admin., use Alinsky's methods, verbetim?

I would really be interested in discussing this....I haven't debated it before and I still have so much to learn about the subject....maybe I'll post a topic. "
